Shul Bulletin

Parshas Ki Savo

This week Mincha/Maariv is at 8:00 pm.

After a well-deserved summer break, the Shul’s daily night Seder program is set to resume next Wednesday, August 26. The requirement for the Seder is that the boys must have a Chavrusa to learn with. The program is supervised by Rabbi Moshe Koval. The program takes place in the downstairs Beis Medrash, nightly, Sunday through Thursday on school days, from 8:00 to 8:45 p.m. followed immediately by Maariv. B”H, during the last school year, there was a very nice turnout each evening. Everyone is invited to come join.
Thank you to Meir Rosner for once again organizing this program. See the attached flyer for details.

B”H, the Shomre Shabbos Kollel’s first week was marked by a beautiful Kol Torah.
On Sunday morning, in honor of the Haschalas HaZman, Mispallelim and community members joined the Kollel for davening and breakfast. The Rov then gave Divrei Bracha, followed by a Shiur from the Rosh Kollel, “Introduction to בשר וחלב,” introducing the Kollel’s first Seder Limud.

The Zmanim of the Sedarim are:
First Seder – 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the downstairs Beis Medresh.
Second Seder – 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the downstairs Beis Medresh.
Night Seder – 8:30 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and until 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, in the upstairs Beis Medresh, followed by Maariv in the downstairs Beis Medresh.

Come join us at any time and learn in the atmosphere of Torah created by the Rosh Kollel and Yungeleit. Ongoing Chaburos and Shiurim are available during both First and Second Seder.

Anyone interested in joining is encouraged to reach out to the Rosh Kollel, Rav Yakov Shalom Barros (845-807-3736), for more information.

Night Seder is specifically designated to provide an opportunity for those who wish to learn B’Chavrusa with the Kollel Avreichim.
We invite you to participate by learning at the Kollel as our Kehilla, Be”H, continues to grow in Limud HaTorah and Ruchniyus.

We are also looking into starting an afternoon Mincha Minyan. Anyone who is interested and able to participate in helping establish the Minyan is asked to please reach out to Rav Barros.

We are working on a Thursday night Chumash Shiur from 9:30-10:00 p.m., given by one of the Kollel Avreichim. Keep your eyes open for a flyer with more details coming soon.
